Solutions for Geotechnical
Subsurface Geology, Hydrology, Infrastructure & Disposal Zones
Matrix portable geophysical loggers from Mount Sopris Instruments, running 4-pi density logs, have been deployed in highway construction piles for non-destructive analysis of column integrity. Also, our modular, multi-frequency full waveform sonic tool is used to profile compressional & flexural (shear) wave velocities and engineering properties. WellCAD software allows for tube-wave attenuation analysis for permeability profiling.
Mount Sopris has participated and exhibited at SAGEEP since its inception in 1987. This conference is the annual meeting for the EEGS (Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society). We have presented numerous papers over the years at this venue, and many others featuring the use of borehole geophysical logging for environmental and engineering-geotechnical applications.
