Semi-Portable Logging Winch

The MX Series strikes a balance between power and portability — increasing the depth capability of your logging operations in a compact system that is easy to transport. The product line comprises the MXA, MXB, and MXC winches. Each is equipped with a slip ring, cable level-wind, depth measure head, mechanical brake, and connections through which a surface data logger communicates with the downhole probe, plus a high-precision measuring wheel and rotary encoder to accurately track the amount of cable played out. The MX winch is designed to be used with the current Matrix or Scout consoles and a portable computer to achieve a complete logging system.
