Exploration ‘17 is the sixth of the very successful series of DMEC decennial mining exploration conferences, which have been held in the seventh year of every decade starting in 1967. The theme of the Exploration ’17 conference is “Integrating the Geosciences: The Challenge of Discovery”, featuring a multi-national, multi-disciplinary technical programme, exhibition, workshops and field schools.
Technical Session Chair and Borehole Geophysics Talk
Mount Sopris Instruments and ALT will be attending this once-every-10-year event. Please visit us in booth 206 to ask about our new technologies including the Spectral Induced Polarization (SIP) sonde, the Neutron Generator (nGen) sonde,the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) probe in rental, our new 2500 meter IWA winch, and product upgrades for the Heat Pulse Flowmeter and Inline Fluid Temp and Conductivity. Lastly, we will also be on hand to give demonstrations of the new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Casing Integrity Workspaces in WellCAD software Version 5.2.

Conference Program Overview
The Conference will commence Saturday 21 October2017 with pre-conference workshops at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. The Trade Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre will open on Sunday 22 October with an industry panel discussion, posters and the Icebreaker Reception. The trade show, plenaries, technical sessions and posters will continue at the MTCC from Monday – Wednesday 23- 25 October. The Technical Lunch and the Gala Dinner will be on Tuesday at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. Post-Conference workshops will be held at FRY on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 October 2017.
