“The Brazilian Symposium on Mineral Exploration, SIMEXMIN 2018 occurs at a time when changes in the Brazilian mineral legislation have been consolidated, but there are still many issues to be discussed and equated. The reduction in the prices of mineral commodities and investments in mining demands a more judicious investigation of the feasibility of the projects developed by mineral and mining companies.
Taking into account the range within the sector, the Organizing Committee selected the themes and lectures of the twelve seminars of SIMEXMIN 2018 mainly on project feasibility and new trends in the characterization of mineral deposits. The post-event program seeks to deepen issues at the frontier of knowledge in mineral exploration.
