Whether across the street or across the ocean, Mount Sopris is committed to delivering the BEST products and customer service to our customers. To further this mission, Mount Sopris recently held its first-ever International Sales Representatives Meeting at its facility in Denver, Colorado.
35 Sales partners from 18 different countries traveled to our facility in Denver, Colorado to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively assist customers in the selection, operation, and support of Mount Sopris and ALT products.
With products in over 120 countries around the world, our network of local geoscience professionals is critical in providing the prompt, expert support you need to successfully complete your subsurface investigations – no matter what time zone you are in!
The Sales Summit, as it was named, provided intensive training on both commercial and technical topics related to all current MSI products and those of our sister company, ALT. Sales reps were also introduced to innovative new products that will soon be available, like the 2500 meter IWA truck-mounted winch or the slimmest downhole gamma probe in existence today – the Nano gamma.
All attendees toured the Mount Sopris Instruments production facility in Denver, meeting the employees and reviewing our engineering, manufacturing, testing, and rental capabilities. The representatives were introduced to our Lean manufacturing system, designed to produce the highest quality products in the shortest amount of time and at the lowest cost. In addition, the attendees also received specialized training on operating logging systems in our onsite borehole, developing application specific quotations, as well as the fundamentals of managing a rental program and international logistics.
Sales reps who attended included:
Geosensor Wireline Pty Ltd, Australia
GeoExploration Technology, Chile
Al-Hazzazi Global Technologies Co, Saudi Arabia/Iraq/Jordan
It wasn’t all work for the sales reps, however, as they had the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Colorado. Some reps summited the 14,000 feet (4400 meters) Mount Evans and toured a historic 19th century gold mine, while others toured the world-famous Dinosaur Ridge, Red Rocks, and the Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado. Most reps also got the chance to meet the legendary Buffalo Bill!
The first-ever Mount Sopris Sales Summit is just another example of Mount Sopris’ dedication to providing not only the very best products, but also the very best customer support. Whether you need a replacement part, onsite training, or a complete logging system, Mount Sopris sales reps are uniquely prepared to sell you the correct equipment, as well as provide the after-sales support that is critical for your success.
