Rentals

Yes. Equipment rental is a good option if you’re dealing with short-term projects. You may hire or rent many of our tools for a specific number of days or weeks, depending on your goals and requirements. Our products are available at affordable rental rates. Repairs, Returns & Servicing

In line with our commitment to serving all of your geophysical logging needs, we provide excellent after-sales support. If your system needs repair, complete the repair form at: mountsopris.com/repair-form/

Include full contact details, equipment information, and a description of the issue.

  • Use original containers or pack with at least 2 inches of rigid foam on all sides.
  • Ensure equipment cannot move inside the container.
  • Do not ship multiple tools together unless using a purpose-built shipping case.
  • Avoid PVC tubes for downhole tools.
  • Do not disassemble tools unless you are trained to do so.
  • For international shipments, complete customs forms and consider using a broker.

Support & Training

Yes. Our team provides technical support to assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and operation. For the quickest response, contact tech.support@mountsopris.com

Yes. We offer training in equipment operation and software, including customized sessions based on your needs. Training can be scheduled virtually or in person at our MSI facility in Denver, Colorado. If you prefer on-site training at your location, the cost will include the daily training rate plus applicable travel time and expenses for our trainer.

  • Preferred training dates
  • The equipment and/or WellCAD modules you would like training on
  • The expected number of attendees
  • Your preferred training format: on-site, virtual, or at our Denver facility

Equipment Use & Field Issues

Downhole tools can occasionally become lodged. Recovery is often possible using proper fishing techniques and by understanding how the tool became stuck. Avoid sudden force or panic actions. Refer to our fishing methods documentation.

Reheading procedures vary by cable type and cablehead configuration. Refer to our online training videos on how to conduct a leakage test and rehead, or visit or our YouTube Channel.

Software & Licensing

There are flexible licensing options for both node-locked and network licenses to meet your needs. All licenses are activated with a software key, regardless of license type (subscription or perpetual) or user configuration (single-user or network).

1) Subscription licenses – Annual and monthly

  • Best suited for WellCAD only users
  • Offer a lot of flexibility in scaling the number of users and the modular content of the licenses.
  • Always includes technical support and latest WellCAD version.
  • Usually accounted for as Operational Expenditure.

2) Perpetual licenses

  • Usually available for combined instruments and WellCAD software users.
  • This option is less flexible than subscriptions in terms of scalability and renewal.
  • Technical support and updates available if under an active maintenance contract. The first 12 months of maintenance are included. Please see detailed information about Maintenance Contract prior to purchasing such a license.
  • Usually accounted for as a Capital Expenditure

Operating System:

  • Minimum: Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 (64bit).
  • Recommended: Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 (64bit).

Processor:

  • Minimum: 1 GHz or faster processor, x64 Architecture (Intel 64 or AMD 64).
  • Recommended: Intel Core i5 or i7 (or equivalent AMD).

System Memory:

  • Minimum: 2 GB RAM.
  • Recommended: 16 – 64 GB RAM.

Storage:

  • Minimum: 25 GB (HDD).
  • Recommended: 256 GB or larger (SSD).
  • A full installation of WellCAD requires 1.2 GB of disk space.

Graphics:

  • Minimum: no specific requirements.
  • Recommended: Intel HD Graphics, Nvidia, AMD.
