WNA & WFA – Truck-Mounted Winches
Truck-Mounted Logging Winch
Built for deep applications and heavy probe stacks on designated logging vehicles and skids.
Description
Mount Sopris WNA and WFA truck-mounted winches are rugged, field-tested logging hoists built for designated logging vehicles and skids — meant for deep applications and heavy probe stacks. They deliver the fastest logging speeds and largest lifting capacity in the Mount Sopris line, position a geophysical probe or other tool in a borehole, and support a wide variety of cable types. Each is equipped with a slip ring and connectors through which surface instrumentation communicates with the probe, a precision measuring wheel and depth encoder, and a separate control box for tension, speed, and depth. The WFA is a 2 hp motor upgrade of the 1 hp WNA at the same 1800 m maximum depth.
